I know I have been very erratic lately, but I can't really help it. I told you things would be catch-as-catch-can here for the foreseeable future because of moving the site. Of course, I never got much on there in the first place, and even less got republished after the first move, so I am also working hard offline to get this other stuff together. Luckily, I will have more time this go-round.
But I am changing the design slightly. This is really more of a technical thing than presentation thing. Going in, I could not get the hierarchical feature(s) of my design program to cooperate, which means that each page had to be recrafted. This is not a good thing. For a simple, little change like the one I want to make right now, I have to go through and change it on every page, individually. You should not have to do this; with the hierarchical feature enabled and set correctly, I could make the change once and it would change all the pages in the "project." Since I have to do every page manually, I am trying to make sure the hierarchical feature is in place this time.
It's a big project but will really pay-off later on down the line, so it's a lot of work I just have to shut up and do. Toil and trudge and such.
So, up tomorrow, more sneak previews, the Rundown on Dark Horse from SDCC 2008, and some celebrity will probably wreck a car or something. Get a jump on the weekend.
