FEAR.net has expanded its distribution model by striking a deal with Time Warner Cable.
The joint-venture between Comcast, Sony, and Lionsgate is a horror-centric media outlet featuring original content and back catalogue titles. FEAR.net adds nearly 5 million homes this August when the Time Warner Cable network adds it to its channels.
Original programming includes a new 30 Days of Night series, Dust to Dust - the sequel to their first 30 Days of Night mini-series, Blood Trail, which was a sequel to the film. Broadband users can watch FEAR.net OnDemand now.
Dish and DirecTV users have the not-too-shabby alternative, Chiller, run by NBCU, which also features OnDemand for broadband users, along with scant original programming. But Chiller is just a toddler, having premiered March, 2007.
