Apparently, the short-lived 1980's sit-com, Greatest American Hero, is going to be remade for the big screen.
In the series , a mild-mannered teacher is granted a suit of alien design for which he lost the instructions. It was a bit of a cult hit, best known for its theme song. Series stars William Katt, Robert Culp, and Connie Selleca have been asked to cameo, but the stars have yet to be named.
This might actually work for a movie. Greatest American Hero was mildly amusing at best, but it had something to it - even if only because it was the only show to feature a superhero at the time. While it sounds like a good premise, the one-trick concept grew old fast, but seems like it would work well as a single story.
So long as they don't drown it in cheesy CGI.
