According to Memphis, TN ABC stations, Isaac Hayes was found dead this morning by his wife.
Upon finding the Rock n Roll Hall of Famer in a heap by his exercise bike, his wife called emergency services who rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. While cause of death has yet to be determined, foul play is not suspected.
Hayes had a string of hits in earlier decades before his career cooled-off. He had a resurgence of popularity in recent years as the voice of "Chef" on the popular animated sit-com, South Park. He recently had a falling-out with series creators over his religious views, though details are sketchy, and the character was killed-off.

Spokespeople say Isaac Hayes died from a stroke. While no autopsy was performed, his doctor had been treating him for high blood pressure and he believes this to be the case.
