Silent movie star, Anita Page, died at 98.
Page starred in many silent films and was one of the few actors of her era to make the segue to "talkies" when sound was introduced to the medium. She starred in several major films alongside such luminaries as Lon Chaney, Clark Gable, and Buster Keaton. She retired from acting in 1936 when she married.
Following her husband's passing, Anita Page returned to her movie career, starring in 1994's Sunset After Dark. Her last role was a cameo in the upcoming Frankenstein Rising.
