Al Sharpton: Go to Jail

The federal government has discovered "Reverend" Al Sharpton - bigot, hatemongerer, demagogue, and separatist - owes them a little money for all the "donations" he's been receiving over the years... to the tune of about $1/2 million!

Sharpton apparently took illegal campaign contributions and donations, as well as participated in other "financial improprieties," during his 2004 Presidential campaign. He received $100k matching money for the run, which authorities later claimed he did not deserve as he broke campaign rules. Sharpton has been contesting their conclusion for years now.

Auditors believe Sharpton owes over $480,000.00.

Of course, Al Sharpton plans to appeal. In a statement, his spokesperson called the audit, "a gross violation of Reverend Al Sharpton's right[s]..."

This past summer, federal authorities failed to pursue prosecution for unpaid taxes. They did, however, get a $930k lien against the Reverend. State authorities claim he owes them at least as much. And the National Action Network - the organization at the center of the campaign funding debacle, coincidentally run by none other than one Rev. Al Sharpton - owes the IRS $1.9 million.

Amusingly, we saw a hit from New Jersey followed shortly by a hit directly from Google. We believe someone from Rev. Sharpton's many dummy organizations, or possibly just a misguided supporter, may have "reported" us for this post - or any of the other posts we've made in which we correctly identify public and political figure, Al Sharpton, as a hatemongerer, racist, and race-baiter.

In the case that we lose access to this account, you will be able to find The Rundown at http://rundown.theweirding.net

Legally, we have done nothing wrong. According to Google TOS, I don't believe we have done anything wrong; after all, it is not against Google TOS to state facts, even if others disagree with them.

But Google is a strong supporter of censorship, so who knows?
