Wonder Woman Inspires Designer

Fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg, has chosen Wonder Woman as the inspiration for her latest line. Wonder Woman was created by Dr. William Moulton Marston - an American psychologist, women's rights activist, and polygamist - to serve as an icon for young women. Furstenberg seized on Wonder Woman's iconography, incorporating it into her new fashion line, with a full-length, red, white, and blue dress as the focal point.

Even more, she has written a comic book to complement the clothes line. Entitled The Adventures of Diva, Viva, and Fifa, the comic book was written by Diane von Furstenberg and part of the proceeds will go to Vital Voices. Vital Voices is dedicated to empowering women, particularly those of underdeveloped countries. The organization also fights human trafficking.
