Freddy Krueger Just Rolled Over in His... Well...

Spokespeople have admitted announced a remake of the classic horror flick, A Nightmare on Elm Street, has been greenlighted. Brad Fuller and Andrew Form - the masterminds who made mockeries of horror classics The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Amityville Horror with similar remakes - are behind the affront. Michael Bay will produce. Bay is directing the remake of another classic, 1980s slasher flick, Friday the 13^th.

Freddy Krueger actor, Robert Englund, ruled-out a return as the iconic horror character, but producers are hopeful he will agree to appear in another role.
