So the space station thing didn't quite work out for him; Stephen Colbert need not worry. The University of Wisconsin La Crosse team is honoring him by naming their mascot "Colbert." Over 3000 students voted, though there is one thing:
The students actually chose the name "Eddie," but had to change it because the NRA said it had trademarked the name for their mascot. On another note, the National Rifle Association has a mascot. Named Eddie.
