David Tennant is in talks to appear as Doctor Who, the Eternal Time Lord, in a motion picture adaptation of the classic, sci-fi TV series. Further, it is said Tennant has agreed to appear in sequels, pending the success of the movie. Tennant left Doctor Who after three seasons just last year, but loves Dr. Who. This would allow him to return to the role occasionally, without the demands a TV series brings.
Relative unknown, Matt Smith, was chosen to replace David Tennant on the Doctor Who TV show.
