Sorry, guys. We had a huge thunderstorm Wednesday which knocked-out the power at about 4:30p. They just got it back on here at about 9:30p last night! So, after 30 some-odd hours without power, I hooked-up the Vista computer to find it is fucked. So is the flatscreen monitor...
The fan is turning, so I guess the power supply is okay. It may be the hard drive. And, as much as that would truly suck, I did back everything up just a few months ago. I know that's a long time, but not really; I haven't done anything in that time that's, like, ultra-important or can't be redone. Besides, I'm not even sure that's the problem; it could be anything, really. Even the power supply (it may be pushing just enough power to move the fan). But I doubt it.
Anyway, I'm on the 98 box and it's going to take me a few hours to setup the mailbox and run mail, but then I'll bring you whatever I've got. I don't have the money to have the Vista box fixed right this minute and won't for another week or so; I have about $100 to my name and I can't afford to spend it all on repairs (I only hope that's the most it will cost; I have no idea).
