JLTV + Bluewater = Jewish Bio Series

In 2010, Jewish Life Television (JLTV) and Bluewater Productions are joining forces to create two new series of biographical comic books featuring the lives of remarkable Jewish personalities.

Jewish-American Patriots will highlight such influential figures as Haym Solomon (financier of the American Revolution), baseball great Hank Greenberg, and the developer of the polio vaccine, Dr. Jonas Salk. A second series, Pioneers of Israel, will present biographies of both contemporary and historical personalities who played significant roles in the creation of the Israeli state, including David Ben-Gurion, Moshe Dayan and Golda Meir.

Each series will contain 10 issues - 20 comics in all - and will be marketed exclusively by JLTV.

"JLTV approached me with some very compelling biographies," said Bluewater president, Darren Davis, whose company is responsible for two successful biography comic series - Female Force and Political Power, "Helping bring them to life will be an honor."
