Joss Whedon will direct an episode of the new Fox series, Glee. Glee is a musical comedy that seems to be right up Whedon's alley; he directed the musical Buffy episode, as well as the Web hit, Dr. Horrible. He has also directed a couple of episodes of The Office, which has the mockumentary feel Glee affects from time to time.
Glee is truly one of the better shows on TV and I have enjoyed the episodes I've seen. The last few weeks though, I have been watching ABC's new sit-coms, which dominate their Wednesday night line-up.
Fans on the sites which broke this story are almost unanimous in hoping Joss Whedon brings Neil Patrick Harris to the show, as Whedon is known to be dedicated to his stable of actors.
