What can I say? I'm a night-owl, always have been. This being up during the day thing is a relatively recent development brought upon by my location; living in a town which rolls-up at about 3pm everyday forces one to adapt. But now that that is all behind me (he typed hopefully), my body keeps dragging me back to the late-nights. I'm scheduling entire days overnight now and just checking for comments. That's how I accidentally released a post meant to be published tomorrow (sorry again).
While I have made no real advances in the computer department (have a new computer, no dial-up modem; old computer won't even boot anymore, thanks to yet another one of the all too frequent power surges/outages this area suffers; and broadband this far out costs roughly twice as much as it does elsewhere), I did discover that I'd had the forethought and presence of mind to back-up my data a mere two months before the Vista machine was struck by lightning. So I'm basically back to Square One: I have the data I need, but no way to get it to you right this minute.
This, regular readers know, has happened every year since The Weirding went live and is the very reason I think some Greater Power doesn't want me to do the site. Unfortunately for me, I am driven. I really enjoy webmastering and design and am really proud of the work I've done - especially the strides I've made. I know I'm getting better and that propels me. Technical issues be damne
