Michael Fassbender has been confirmed as Magneto in the upcoming reboot of the X-Men movie franchise, X-Men: First Class. Fassbender also appeared in the comics-based bomb, Jonah Hex, and is reported to have turned-down a villainous role in the upcoming Spider-Man movie franchise reboot for Magneto.
Alice Eve is also said to have turned-down another Marvel Comics movie role for Emma Frost, formerly the White Queen of the Hellfire Club and now Cyclops' love; Eve is said to have been in the running for the love interest in Captain America.
X-Men: First Class hits theaters on June 3rd, 2011.
