Seth Grahame-Smith, author of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, has reportedly been hired to write Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's next project, Dark Shadows. Dark Shadows has been in development for quite some time now, but with Grahame-Smith at the word processor, filming is set to start in January. Depp will star as vampire, Barnabas Collins.
Burton and a partner bought Seth Grahame-Smith's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and it is thought to be in pre-production now. Lionsgate optioned another of Smith-Grahame's novels, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Natalie Portman will star as Elizabeth Bennett.
