Fucking lightning blew-up the modem AND the new laptop Saturday morning. I just got the new modem in today, but didn't feel like fooling with it until a bit ago. I am writing you from the old old computer. See you tomorrow, though I've no idea what I can and cannot access on here anymore.

I can't access much from here -- far less than even six months ago -- but I may be able to get into town tomorrow to look at laptops, and possibly get one. If nothing else, I may be able to snag a refurbished desktop and send the laptop back under warranty (if it is still under warranty, that is).
