It turns out Demi Moore had been doing whippits and smoking K2 the night she went to the ER. I'm no psychologist, so she may well have been partying to forget Ashton, but she was partying hard enough to put her old ass in the hospital. The 911 call indicates that Demi Moore was convulsing and "burning up."
Products like K2 are labeled as incense but are smoked directly to achieve a high. They are known to cause a rise in blood pressure and are thought to have been the cause of death in some teens around the country. Convulsions have been associated with this incense, also called "spice." There were other indications that the actress had been using Adderall and drinking Red Bull - both of which are also uppers.
A statement released following the incident stated that Demi Moore would be seeking help for her issues.
