No, seriously: Narragansett brewery, out of Boston, has announced a line of brews honoring the late writer. It also indirectly honors one of Lovecraft's influences, Edgar Allan Poe. The honey ale is also an allude to a passage from one of Lovecraft's stories in which one of the creatures drinks a "space mead."
The announcement was made on Saturday, January 10th, in Boston Magazine. The next beer in the line is in honor of Lovecraft's The Shadow Over Innsmouth story, which explores the small, independent brewer's "dark side," and features art from an artist known to deliver.
