The Goon Flick

The Goon creator, Eric Powell, notes on his website that David Fincher has optioned the rights for a full-length, feature film based on the comic book. Dark Horse has an exclusive, first-look deal with Universal, meaning the company gets the first crack at it. That does not guarantee that Universal will distribute the film.

Fincher is known for directing such films as Se7en and Fight Club. Blur Studios is best-known for its short film works and commercials and has been nominated for an Academy Award. This will be the company's first full-length film.
