Well, May is already on or about to be (IFC). I spoke about it a few weeks back because I was going to review it, but it's one of those that you can't review without giving away most of the movie.
After that is Broken Lizard's Club Dread, which I wasn't too impressed with the first time I saw it but really love on subsequent viewings. I could appreciate the inside jabs at B-raters and the genre the first time through, but the true creativity of it -- in that it becomes its own B-rater in its own right -- only came through for me on later viewings. After that, it's Bubba Ho-Tep and House of 1000 Corpses.
Rob Zombie still owes me $4.99 for that piece of shit! I also noticed that he was conspicuously absent from last night's TCM Underground, so I guess he's no longer hosting it. Bubba Ho-Tep is worth watching... once, at least.
Jeremy Piven is hosting SNL tonight. I haven't made up my mind on him yet. He tends to play the same character over and over, but I admit I kind of like him in that role. I don't think he's been on SNL before, but I'm not certain.
[adult swim] has the usual batch of Saturday night anime and BBCA has their Sci-Fi Saturday line-up with the Avengers after Dr. Who and an early Hex episode featuring Cassie.
