Die-hard comics fans know that May 5th is Free Comic Book Day, but the entire first week in May is designated Free Comic Book Week, so if you can't make it to your local retailers exactly on the 5th, I'm sure they'll be glad to share whatever goodies they have leftover with you throughout the week.
Las Vegas citizens, as well as those in the surrounding areas, will get a special treat on May 4th: Stan "The Man" Lee will be available at Comic Oasis to sign comic and comics memorabilia for one hour, from 1-2:00 PM (PST, I'm sure). Further, a CGC representative will be on-hand to witness the autographs, meaning your item will be CGC-certified. Due to time constraints (y'all better get there early, since there's only 1 hour), customers are limited to 1 item; you can only have ONE item autographed, regardless of whether or not you care if it's CGC-certified.
