Gah! It seems to have been a bad day in court for all the beautiful people! Britney Spears lost custody of her children earlier today! Her ex-husband and the children's father, K-Fed - aka Kevin Federline - will have sole physical custody of the two children beginning Wednesday.
K-Fed's attorney petitioned the court for the unscheduled hearing today after Britney was spotted carting her kids, Sean Preston (2) and Jayden James (1) around Los Angeles just weeks after being popped for driving without a license. This was compounded by misdemeanor charges stemming from an August hit-and-run with a Mercedes Benz and Britney Spears' former bodyguard testifying that he had witnessed the former pop icon using drugs and acting "erratically" around the children.
Brit-Brit's lawyer has quit, her management dumped her, she bombed at the VMAs, and if she is found guilty on the misdemeanor charges, she could face up to 6 months in jail!
Spears' new album hits stores November 13th.
