Gunslinger Born #1 Graphic Novel!

I grew up reading Stephen King; he was my favorite author all throughout highschool. I read pretty much everything he did up to a point and even people who didn't really care for his work liked the Dark Tower series. I read all but the last few (even though I have all of them, I think) and I really wanted to see the comics series, but missed-out on ordering them... par-for-the-course in ManodogsLand. Anyway, this here's an official Marvel press release:

Shoppers voted with their wallets and Marvel is proud to announce that Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born Premiere HC is the #1 hardcover graphic novel across the country— at Direct Market retailers, Amazon.Com, BN.Com, Borders.Com and more! Debuting in stores today, this collection has drawn critical acclaim from all corners, with Richard George of IGN declaring, "Dark Tower is a spectacular achievement, both in terms of narration and visuals…. This is one of the best books of the year."

Collecting all seven issues of the top-selling Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born limited series, this hardcover explores the past of Roland Deschain, hero of Stephen King's epic Dark Tower novels. Written by New York Times best-selling author Peter David and Dark Tower expert Robin Furth, visualized stunningly by Jae Lee & Richard Isanove and overseen by the watchful eyes of Stephen King---this graphic novel is a must-have for Dark Tower fans new and old!

"Sales for the Dark Tower Gunslinger Born Premiere HC are great," said Andy Eaton, COO of TalesOfWonder.Com. 'While it's popular with existing customers, we're seeing a lot of new customers come to our website and purchase it."

Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born HC is the #1 hardcover graphic novel online—and it's in stores now! With tons of extras, including variant covers by superstar artists such as Joe Quesada, John Romita Jr, Greg Land, Olivier Coipel and more, this is the one collection you can't miss!
