Hulk vs. the Gladiators

On June 9th, a Hulk-themed episode of American Gladiators will air on NBC as part of an NBC Universal cross-promotional effort to promote the movie. Four days later, the movie premieres and Gladiator, Titan, will walk the red carpet.

The episode features special guests Lou Ferrigno, who played the green guy in the 1970s TV series, as well as Hulk Hogan. Fans will be given green Hulk hands to wear and some will have masks. The Gladiators will also wear the Hulk hands in the Gauntlet competition.

Further, the water in the pools will be green, the lighting will be green, the Powerballs will be green, Titan will be green... basically everything will be green. During the show, NBC will have an exclusive 60-second premiere of the movie.

Universal is distributing the motion picture, which stars Edward Norton as scientist and Hulk alter-ego, Bruce Banner.

think the idea is cool but why does everything have to be green? I can only come to one conclusion and it's because we can't turn a human green and really big yet with drugs! So this "everything green" will help hulk look like hulk?

Weird... lol

Actually, I think it has mostly to do with an utter lack of creativity. I mean, "Let's do green lighting... a-and green WATER! And... get HULK HOGAN!"

Just a completely slack-assed approach to the whole thing, if you ask me.

But Lou Ferrigno is cool. :c)
