I am still unable to sleep well. Part of it is the neighbors' fault, but part of it is just having gotten off my schedule.
The drunken neighbor(s - he has a "girlfriend" now), of whom I have spoken many times before, has gotten his sleeping schedule right back on track. He usually rises sometime around 1-2am and begins drinking, so that by 5:30-6am, the two of them are completely drunk and almost always arguing loudly. They generally play-out by around 10-11am and fall back asleep until mid-afternoon when it starts over. So that's enough to try and sleep through.
But I also did my share of drinking and not sleeping last weekend and it always takes a few days for me to get back to "normal" after that happens. And my sinuses have been killing me this entire week!
I was up around 5:30am yesterday and didn't fall asleep until around 2am this morning, only to be awakened at 6. I got up and knocked-out quite a bit of housework in the hopes of alleviating some of this sinusitis and I actually do feel a bit better, though I have no idea if there is any real connection. I may have to walk to the drugstore to buy some real sinus medicine, which you have to show your ID for here...
None of this has the least bit to do with comic books or anything else, I'm just a whiner. Actually, I'm letting you know this because I don't know what kind of day this is going to be, so I don't know how much of what you should expect. A lot of it depends on how my sinuses do and whether or not I lose half the day to walking to various places, looking for the cure!

And I am obviously still getting the hang of the whole scheduled posting thing. I wrote this earlier this morning, right before I took one of those cheap-o, OTC sinus pills I knew was going to knock me out - that way it wouldn't look like I was gone...
Unfortunately, I didn't change the "AM" to "PM," so it looked like I wrote it last night...
I probably should have left it that way, but... that's not the order in which they were written and I tend to screw things up when I try to get "clever" like that. Obviously.
