Ultimate Origins #2 Variant
Another sneak peek, this time at the Ultimates Origins #2 2nd-printing variant cover by Jackson Guice (billed as "Butch"). Jackson Guice did one of my childhood favorites many of you may have missed, Swords of the Swashbucklers. A Marvel graphic novel (when that still meant something - as in, it was a prestige format that, at first, went direct market and only later broke into chain bookstores), it became a short-lived (weren't they all?) ongoing series from the truly aptly-named, Epic.
Remind me to tell you the history of the graphic novel format one of these days, as well as all about Epic Magazine. I always tell you guys to remind me of this stuff and no one ever does! That's why I forget! What... were we talki - OH!
