A Saudi Arabian cleric (he's Muslim - no, really!) claims Mickey Mouse is "one of Satan's soldiers" and must die!
Obviously in the vast minority of extremists, Sheikh Muhammad Munajid claims animated anthropomorphic images of mice have fooled children into believing they are harmless, when they actually make everything they touch impure. He implored all listeners to kill all mice.
He discussed both Mickey and Tom & Jerry in his zealous rant of stupidity, noting that they have endeared mice to children, while Islamic law considers them repulsive and corrupting.
Last month, he said of the Beijing Olympics that nothing makes Satan happier than seeing female athletes in skimpy outfits. I am not sure why Satan is so occupationally specific, but then I am ignorant of Islamic Law...
