Monty Python's Spamalot, the stage musical based on the classic movie, The Holy Grail, is closing on Broadway after a three-year run. It ran over 1500 performances and made over $175 million. The show recently opened in Spain and is set to open in Germany. A traveling troupe will continue shows across the nation.
Over 2 million people saw Spamalot on Broadway and it recouped its investment in under six months. The two-year run in London closes at the end of this year.
