Britney Spears offered to lend her voice to a retaliatory episode of Family Guy, but creator, Seth McFarlane, declined and scrapped the idea. South Park recently took on both - Family Guy in the Cartoon Wars series, and Spears in the Britney's New Look episode.
McFarlane had planned a retaliatory episode, but said he didn't want to start an on-air war with Matt and Trey. "That would do more harm than good. [It] would take too much work." Well, and you wouldn't win.
Seth McFarlane was recently named the smartest man in television.
