Entertainment Weekly ranked the smartest people in television in their latest issue. Family Guy and American Dad creator, Seth MacFarlane came in #1. Other names on the list included Tina Fey (#2) and Oprah Winfrey (6th). Entertainment Weekly called his "frat-boy image" a "cover."
MacFarlane is currently the highest-paid writer on TV, with the two aforementioned shows as well as a Family Guy spin-off in the works (The Cleveland Show)... but the smartest?

Geez... I just saw the entire list of 25, and let me tell you, I have to agree with MacFarlane landing at #1.
That's like saying Amy Winehouse is a bigger trainwreck than Lindsay Lohan.
