Steve Martin is set to host Saturday Night Live for the 15th time on January 31st, 2009. He will largely be promoting his Pink Panther 2, but also setting a new record.
Martin has hosted SNL more than anyone else. The only celebrity to even come close is Alec Baldwin, though many have hosted multiple times (including Tom Hanks, Danny Devito, and John Goodman).
Tom Hanks is the only non-castmember to have a recurring role: Mr. Short-Term Memory.
