The wait is over and the matter is finally settled: George Clooney will return for an episode of ER - possibly the finale. Some sources say NBC extended the series by three episodes specifically in hopes of luring Clooney back for one more appearance as Dr. Doug Ross. ER has run for an astounding 15 years, though it has limped along for at least the past five.
While no one is confirming the reports, it is said that Clooney will be filming his scenes today and tomorrow. ER's finale airs April 2nd.
