Rob Liefeld is illustrating the Christian graphic novel, Armageddon Now: World War 3. Written by a pastor who is "theologically trained expert on interpreting biblical prophecies," Armageddon Now tells the tales of the End Times, beginning with the installment of the Antichrist as the British Prime Minister.
"We've incorporated bold, engaging graphics and a compelling story to entertain and inform readers of the coming days as described in the Scriptures," Liefeld said.
The books incorporate current events into the story, making it hard for readers to distinguish between what is based on "real life" and what is drawn from the writer's prophetical interpretations. But the creative team insists their aim is to tell the events described in the Holy Bible's book of Revelation in a contemporary manner.
Armageddon Now is being published by 12 Gates, a "cutting-edge, Christian entertainment" company formed by writer/pastor, Phil Hotsenpiller, Rob Liefeld, and Michael Gadd.
