Producers are working on "getting the technology together" so that Arnold Schwarzenegger can make a cameo in the upcoming Terminator: Salvation. According to an interview the California governor-nator gave webcaster, Bill Bradley, he told director, McG, he didn't have time to do the movie, but would be willing to do it if they could figure out some way to include him without him having to perform. Which is what directors have been doing since Arnold Schwarzenegger started making movies, according to some. Apparently, they will doctor footage from the original Terminator to accommodate the governor's cameo.
In further Terminator-related news, a Fox insider told NY Magazine's Vulture to "consider [Terminator: The Sarah Connors Chronicles] canceled." As the magazine says, the official announcement is not likely to be made until Fox' fall schedule is announced, but many have been predicting the little-watched sci-fi show dead in the water pretty much since it began.
While The Sarah Connor Chronicles developed a pretty rabid fanbase, it remained small. The Rundown tried like heck to get into the show, but it just never "took." Characters came and went, the show itself came and went and moved around, and there just wasn't much meat on those bones to start with.
