A 33-year old inmate serving a life sentence in Wisconsin for 1st-degree murder lost his court case to play Dungeons & Dragons in prison. A 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the prison's 2004 ban on D&D-related materials allowed in the prison. Prison officials said the game encourages "gang-related activity."
Apparently because you need a group to play.
