Max Brooks, author of the immensely popular World War Z told fans at Comic-Con yesterday that Brad Pitt has been confirmed as the lead in the movie adaptation of the zombie Apocalypse. Brad Pitt's production company (Plan B) outbid Leonardo DiCaprio's for the rights to World War Z back in 2007. Marc Foster (Quantum of Solace) will direct. Brooks said everyone is hoping for a 2012 relase.
