Pink Floyd fans in Oxfordshire last weekend got their money's worth when David Gilmour joined Roger Waters onstage to perform several Pink Floyd songs. It was the first time in five years that the two had played together in public, but it gets better: Some sources are saying the two will reunite for Waters' upcoming tour! Gilmour himself discusses Pink Floyd goings-on on his Facebook blog.
Gilmour and Waters have had their interpersonal problems over the years, but the classic lineup reunited back in 2005 for a charity event. Richard Wright, the keyboardist, died in 2008, prompting former members to say there would never be another reunion, as Wight was irreplaceable.
Pink Floyd's North American tour starts later this year.
