A copy of Action Comics #1 thought to have been owned by actor Nicolas Cage set the record for comics with a winning bid of $2.6 million. It started out at just $1.00 with a $900,000.00 reserve and the history based that of Cage's book, having been stolen and recently recovered. Only about 100 copies of Action Comics #1 are thought to exist, and only some of those are in good condition.
This particular copy of Action Comics #1 was said to be in Very Good (VG) condition.
