An Australian horsefly known as a pest has been named after singer and celebrity baby mama, Beyonce. The Scaptia beyonceae fly has a plume of golden hairs on its hind end, leading one scientist to call it the "diva of all flies." The fly was first discovered in 1981, the same year Beyonce was born.
