More news from the VMAs, as Tommy Lee has posted on his website about a scuffle that apparently occurred between him and one Kid Rock, whom he refers to as "Kid Pebble" (ah, that rockin' wit - touché, Tommy Lee, touché!) in his missive.
According to the former Motley Crue drummer, as he was schmoozing around at the awards show, one Miss Pamela Anderson came and sat on his lap for a moment. He then got up to go elsewhere when Kid Rock approached him. Tommy Lee says he gave the guy a hug and greeted him warmly, and was shocked when Kid Rock hauled-off and threw a punch at him! Lee attempted to fight back, but the pair was nabbed by security guards and escorted out of the building.
Rock faces charges of misdemeanor assault and Lee is now apologizing to everyone he can think of, including the performers on stage, Empty-V, and everyone else.
Ah, rock n roll - it's exactly what it always was, isn't it?
Now, let me just say that Pamela Anderson is fine - there's no question about that - but worth fighting over? Puh-lease! All those trashy hair-band boys have already hit that at least a dozen times anyway - hell, there's videotape evidence of that! - so what's the point? She goes from one to another on a weekly basis, so if Rock had any sense, he'd just sit back and wait for his next turn to come back around.
