One is fighting car wrecks, the other is just a plain wreck.
Lindsay Lohan's attempt to get a lawsuit filed against her was dismissed by the judge. As we reported some time back, a man filed suit against the starlet, claiming she was intoxicated and left the scene of a wreck when she smashed into his van in one of her many auto-on-auto incidents. Initially, police found the man driving the van to be liable, but Lohan's subsequent rehab treatment(s) for alcohol dependency seem to bring the matter back into question - at least as far as the man and his attorneys are concerned. Lohan's camp tried to use the initial findings to have part or all of the case dismissed, but the judge set an April 4th hearing and said he expected the whole thing to take about four days.
Britney Spears' slovenly performance at the Empty-V awards boosted ratings by nearly 25% and set records for the network's on-demand cable and website traffic. This prompted Kanye West to say in an interview that the network had "exploited" the troubled performer and helped "end her career." West has discontinued his affiliation with Empty-V, canceling a TRL performance and saying he will no longer make videos for use on the network. But this has nothing specifically to do with Britney Spears; West is reportedly upset over the way he was treated at the awards show.
It is not without some amount of sympathy that we here to The Weirding (which includes The Rundown, of course) would like to reiterate that we would still have sex with both Lindsay and Britney.
