I'm just now starting on the template changes here and on The OddBlog. I know Mayren's the only one who has complained about the template not showing up right and, as I've stated, I was able to duplicate the problem on IE 7.0 but not since then. I changed the template back then and it appears fine on my box, as well as my dad's XP laptop (under IE 6.x) and his XP desktop (6.x, again), Win98 (both IE 6.x and Firefox 2.x), and SuSe Linux 10.0 (Firefox and Opera). I also had no problems under SeaMonkey/Mozilla on XP, and I haven't had this complaint from anyone else, but the plan to switch to the new Blogger Template system was always in mind, I just had to wait until it got out of Beta and they offered more than like 3-4 templates to choose from!
I have not chosen a particular template yet, but I do have the system down as to how to personalize whichever one I choose, so I'm hoping to get it all done by the end of the day (well, night). My only request is that anyone who has a problem viewing the site or has any suggestions please leave a comment! Obviously, things are showing up on all of the systems to which I have access differently than they are on some other systems, and that's to be expected. I have no idea how anything shows up on a Mac or on other versions of Linux, and there are a whole list of other browsers I have not tried as well.
As with any change, I'm sure there will be a period of adjustment, which means that there may be some gaffes and flaws here and there and it may take several days - even weeks - not just to discover them but to fix them. As I stated, I am limited as to what I can do and see, so if there's anything that's not working on your end, please let me know.
Sadly, the new Blogger Templates are an entirely new system and I'm not 100% familiar with it yet, so if things are completely FUBAR, it may take me a while to figure out why and how to fix it. I have about 5 new programs/systems to master - including WP, Blogger, the new forums, and the webdesign GUI I use - and a limited amount of time I can dedicate to doing so, and the reason I've been putting a lot of this off is because I didn't want to drive readers away. Change is good, but change takes work and work takes time, and I don't have as much time to work as I used to, so change is often slow in coming.

Some of the immediate problems I see have to do with alignment and, unfortunately, most of the rest are on Blogger's end. That's why I switched back to the old template to begin with!
I can edit the template by hand and apparently, there is at least one template editing program I can download and use, but with everything that's on my plate right now, it's just going to have to wait.
This is going to take some getting used to by everyone and I'm nowhere near done yet, so please be patient! And, again, if this is completely effed-up on your side, PLEASE let me know - and let me know EXACTLY what is wrong, EXACTLY what Operating System you are using, EXACTLY what browser(s), and so on.
AND, if you are working on a network and things are not showing up right on your network, GET OFF THE NETWORK AND TRY A WORKSTATION NOT ON THAT NETWORK! THEN let me know if you are getting the same problem OFF the network that you are on it. I cannot troubleshoot networks, no matter what.
