I would like to take a moment to sincerely apologize to our sponsors. Without them, you would not see even half the posts you do.
The Rundown has been around since around 1997-1998 and for the majority of those years, you rarely saw more than 1 or 2 posts every few months. It was not until we began to take on sponsors that we were able to afford to actually post about the things we love.
While I honestly don't feel like getting into all of it right now, let's just say that hardware upgrades and a whole host of other stuff came up this week and I haven't even been able to make it to physical therapy this week. I thought today was Wednesday, to be honest.
We have some ads to get in under the line and we'd really like to thank our sponsors for choosing us and allowing us to speak on their behalf.
I NEVER do this, but I was blogging before blogging was cool. I created my own template and used to run-off at the mouth on pop-culture for years before anyone took notice and said they'd give me a buck or two to keep it up.
I'm going to post a link to some of the old posts for now, just to keep you guys entertained while I dole-out some ads. I chose this one because it relates to what we talk about now, but also because I had changed the format. You can browse around for some of the older ones.
I WILL WARN YOU - I WAS A GOOD 10 YEARS YOUNGER, HAD NO SPONSORS, AND WORKED FROM A FREE SITE. A LOT of this content is ROUGH. I'd appreciate it if kids and discerning readers took it upon themselves to know that some of it is very ugly. Most links no longer work.
Also, for sponsors, I've obviously mellowed a lot since then and don't plan to go back to that style of nastiness (well, except when I do). Hey guys, seriously: thanks for this opportunity. I'd have still been doing it, but I love getting compensated for it. OH - and sponsors? Um, I'm nice(r) now. :cD
