Paris Speaks

Paris Hilton phoned Barbara Walters from her prison cell or medical ward or wherever it is they're keeping her over the weekend. In the untaped phonecall, Walters says Hilton told her she'd "become more spiritual" and that she "used to act dumb" but "that act is no longer cute." "God has released me," Hilton supposedly told Walters.

The judge has not.

Paris also denied the reports that she was on antidepressants, as well as that she was led from the courtroom wailing. She said her now infamous cry, "It's not fair! Mo-om!" was actually in response to the guards not allowing her to hug her mother goodbye as they led her away in handcuffs.

The call came Sunday unexpectedly, as Paris was phoning her mother, who was speaking to Walters at the time. Paris asked to speak to Bah-bah Wah-wah directly.

The cost to the the taxpayers for holding Paris Hilton each day is over $1000. The cost to the LA sheriff's "integrity" (if you will) is much greater. Race-baiters, including the omnipresent hater, Al Sharpton, have crawled out of the woodwork, filing case after case on behalf of this minority criminal and that one, saying they all have emotional and/or medical issues that should preclude their imprisonment.

But Paris Hilton has declined to appeal her sentence and will serve at least 23 days in the facility. I sincerely doubt any of the new claimants will agree to the same.
