This is not going to be a popular post, I understand that. I also understand that I could face some kind of retaliation - physically or otherwise - but I have to say this because of the increasing frequency with which these sorts of things are happening:
I'm sure you've heard about the British teacher who was jailed for allowing her Middle-Eastern students to name a classroom teddy bear "Muhammad." She could have gotten up to 6 months in prison, 40 lashes, and a fine for her "transgression," which many of Sudan's "top clerics" labeled a "Western conspiracy against Islam," but she only received 15 days and deportation, which many of Those People have called "extremely fair."
Well, it's total bullshit, just like the way they allow their women to be gang-raped and then punish them for it - also "extremely fair" in Those People's eyes. But that's not where I'm going with this; any reasonable child knows this is an abomination against all things just and good; only Those People would ever think otherwise.
But let's be honest about this: here, we are expected not to treat Those People differently - they are even letting Those People pray in public areas, such as airports and bus stations - and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone is arrested for supposedly transgressing against Those People in some way because of it. Why?
We have two border patrol guards getting abused in prison for doing their job, when the asshole they shot is on trial for doing the very thing that got him shot - and the DA knew damn well this criminal was facing other charges when he put him on the stand. We are constantly being forced to allow people from other countries and other cultures to go anywhere they please, do and say anything they want, and basically rip us off in every manner conceivable! Why?
And not only do they continue to treat people from the Western world with contempt and brutality, they appear to be doing so more frequently!
Why are we allowing this?
To those ends, while I sincerely feel for the woman, I hear she's actually going to appeal the verdict! Which tells me, more than anything else about this story, that this chick is bugnuts! Hey, dummy? GET OUT! Spend your little two weeks in jail and get the hell out of that third-world shithole and never look back!
I hate to see any good and honorable person treated so callously by a dishonest, stupid, corrupt, and thoroughly immoral society, such as the one Those People have created and are forcing upon the rest of the world, but I also have to say that if she's dumb enough to want to appeal the verdict and face the very real possibility of even further "justice" at the hands of those dirty fathers, then she's a real moron!
Get out, go home, and write a tell-all book. You can still tell all those little boys and girls you wanted so desperately to help how much you care for them and hope for their futures, but appealing this verdict is tantamount to trying to talk your way out of an alligator pit.
Get out, dummy! Get out while you still can!
And, not for nothing, were I an Englishman, I'd be mad as hell about this and demand my government do something... of course, as an American, had this woman been American, I can safely say I would do nothing more than exactly this - write about it - because the American government will help any and everyone except its own people.
