Two new actresses and characters are joining Supernatural this season. Katie Cassidy, daughter of 1970s icon, Shaun Cassidy, will join the brothers to hunt the demons they released during the second season’s finale.
Later in the season, Lauren Cohan joins the cast as a hunter who seeks to profit from the supernatural. The series creator said that both characters are “dangerous, ruthless” and “more bad than good.” But all seem very pleased with the additions.
I love Supernatural and I’m glad to hear they are bringing in some new life to the show - but it’s not like it needs it. Supernatural is consistently the most entertaining show on TV.
The third season premieres October 4th.
