Eureka Marathon on Now!

Sci-Fi is running a marathon of the first season all day today, through to Dead Like Me. Then the season finale of this excellent series premieres.

This is one of the best things on TV and one of my favorite shows, as most of you know. I've already reviewed the premiere and spoken about the early season and I will definitely have a larger review of the whole series so far sometime this week (on the Rundown: Entertainment), but now is the perfect time to get caught-up on the series, if you've had your head ni the sand or maybe been living under a rock all summer.

Oooo! I checked in late and just found this. Darn it! Oh well, I've seen them all already. But it's a fun show and I like having something interesting on TV while I'm working.

BTW - how do you like Dead Like Me? I watched the 1st two seasons when I was still working for Time Warner and getting Showtime for free. I wasn't about to pay for Showtime just for a 1-hour weekly show, so I missed all the rest of it. I'm so glad SciFi finally picked it up. Really like it!

I wish there were more than 2 Seasons of Dead Like Me. It stopped production. Funny wierd thing I was working for a Time Warner Competitor in Texas when I first caught the show for free on Showtime as well. Crazy.

Anyways. I wish Dead Like Me would return with new seasons but I'm not sure how long it would live.

Other News:
Did anyone catch Heroes? I loved the mind flip it gave. Is it possible that the entrancing leadup will pay off and this show will have a decent lifespan of more than one season?
Dear Gods i hope so.

I love Dead Like Me -- fantastic show! I don't think it will be returning, though. They picketed outside Showtime when they canceled it and dressed up like reapers, had signs -- the whole nine -- but Showtime said it wasn't coming back. And Mandy Patinkin and the woman who played Joy are both on new shows now.

I thought Heroes was a huge hit? I thought it got like 25 million viewers the first night or something? From what I understood, it was huge! This week's episode was even better than the pilot! Sci-Fi's showing it Fridays at 6:00 Central and USA has shown it, too. NBC's really pushing it, at least. I hope that, if it doesn't show strong on network, they at least have the sense to move it to Sci-Fi and keep making it.

Eureka's the best thing on TV right now, IMO. The last episode was really good, I just hate that it didn't end with a cliffhanger... all the shows nowadays that end with cliffhangers pretty much guarantee they're coming back for another season.

I may spit blood if Eureka doesn't come back.

Aww, shoot! I thought there were more than 2 seasons of Dead Like Me. That sucks! Well, I must not have only seen the 1st season, cause the last couple of weeks have been new to me.

Mayren, what company were you working for in Texas? I'm in TX, too! REally funny coincidence.

Why thank you, Mayren. I would swoon, but I'm afraid I'd throw my back out. You can see the same pic better on my MySpace.

I read today that Heroes is one of NBC's biggest new dramas so far! It's no "break-out" hit, but it's definitely up there. Let's keep our fingers crossed and see where it leads... as much as they've been showing it on the other NBC channels, I have a good feeling that if it doesn't clear network, it will at least find a home on one of those channels.
