The trailer looked good, but who can tell anymore? Most movies nowadays literally rely on editing to make the movie, so the trailers are nearly always better than the actual flick. But both Spider-Mans were surprisingly good, thanks in no small part to director, Sam Raimi (of Evil Dead fame -- one of my favorite movies -- as well as Army of Darkness, which is one of Mayren's favorites and the last in the Evil Dead trilogy).
Anyway, I am kind of excited about this one. It comes out next summer (May 18th, if I remember correctly) and will feature Sandman and the black, alien costume (before Venom). I always thought Sandman was one of the cooler villains and he is being portrayed by the goofy guy that was in Wings and Sideways, whose name escapes me right now - Thomas Howell or something? If only there were a website I could look it up on... ah, I'm too lazy and it's too late.
Anyway, looks pretty good and I'll be interested to hear more about it. This is certainly a LONG time before its release to start promotions and I'm not sure why they're doing that...
[I'm too lazy to put in a comics ad!]
