Entertainment Rundown for 05-30-07 - Movies, Lohan, Rosie, Britney, more

I have a lot to get to today, but I also had a blowout on my car and have to get a new tire, so I'm going to be here and there. I figured I'd go on and get you started with a quick Rundown on a host of things, from movies to TV to talk show feuds and more.

Remember, you must be this tall to read this blog.
  • Fox is looking into making a live-action movie based on the popular game, The Sims.
  • Actor, Paul Newman, has retired. At age 82, he says he simply isn't able to give it his all anymore.
  • Poland has set up a committee to look into whether or not the Teletubbies promotes a homosexual lifestyle to children.
  • Lindsay Lohan's estranged father has publicly offered to help her, if she will talk to him.
  • Rosie O'Donnell's writer on The View has been accused of drawing moustaches on Elisabeth Hasselbeck's pictures which hang in the studio.
  • Rosie O'Donnell unceremoniously quit The View last Friday. Barbara Walters said Rosie was welcome back anytime.
  • On her blog and vlog, O'Donnell said she has not spoken to Hasselbeck since the feud erupted on The View last week and has no plans to do so.
  • Today would have been Mel Blanc's 99th birthday.
  • Britney Spears has been very forthcoming on her website as to her stint in rehab, her partying, and more. She says she does not believe her problems stem from substance abuse; she blames her divorce and a bad manager.
And that's your Rundown for May 30th, 2007.
